Plein Air Painting

Plein Air Painting with Clare Purser - This fun and inspiring workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced artists looking to enhance their skills, you'll learn various techniques and tips for painting outside.  Using an expressive approach to painting, we will focus on capturing a spontaneous reaction to the landscape.  We will be painting both outside and in the studio. Learn to mix colours to reflect the landscape you see and learn how to use your sketchbook for gathering resources like preliminary sketches and studies.  We will work on completing a series of fast and loose painterly sketches on paper and then work on developing these into finished paintings back in the studio.
