Open Studio Printmaking

Open Studio Printmaking with Glen Skien incorporates an introduction to a variety of printmaking techniques that blend traditional printmaking practices with contemporary collage techniques. Designed around the artist’s personal studio practice, the course introduces participants to the traditional methods of relief and intaglio printmaking together with experimental elements that incorporate drawing and collage. The course allows for students who have the discipline to work independently within a studio environment to be tutored and set specific tasks that will develop their skills and knowledge of printmaking in relationship to their own creative process.
