Total: $ 745.00
Description

Introduction to Enamelling with Catherine Large introduces students to the art of enamelling, offering the skills to create colourful objects and jewellery with vitreous enamel. While the focus is on kiln‑fired enamelling, you’ll also learn how to fire enamel with a gas torch. Techniques such as sifting, layering, wet‑packing, cloisonné, stencilling and sgraffito are covered, along with basic silversmithing skills—cutting, filing, drilling and riveting—to turn your enamel pieces into wearable jewellery. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience, the course concludes with several finished works to take home.
