Glazes A-Z

A little bit of theory and lots of action in the workshop with Dianne Peach. We’ll design a unique glaze from a selection of ingredients, line blend a couple of interesting materials, eg. wood ash and rock powder.  We’ll mix a glaze from a recipe and understand common variables for colour and texture.  Test tiles will be rapidly fired so results will be available to discuss.  Online resources will be reviewed for ongoing technical and practical assistance.
