Abstracting the Landscape

Taking a fast and loose approach to painting, this is a great course to pursue a more intuitive direction in your painting practice with Clare Purser. Looking at ways of abstracting the landscape using visual material gathered from either photos or sketches and studies.  Learn how a painting can evolve and doesn’t have to be preplanned.  Through the process of abstraction, create paintings that are evocative and suggestive of landscape without being overly descriptive.
