Welcome to Brisbane Institute of Art

Painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, life drawing, portraiture, landscape, jewellery making, children's art classes and more....... Brisbane's not for profit art institute offers the largest range of art classes and workshops designed for both beginners and those with experience who wish to broaden their art skills or consolidate concepts and techniques. Everyone is welcome.

The BIA Winter Art program >>> is now open for enrolments. There are an amazing selection of twelve hour art workshops for beginners and those with more experience.
The Semester 2 timetable >>> is now online. The semester art classes commence from 13 July. Everyone is welcome!

'Spectacle', the end of semester exhibition opens next Friday 21 June at 6.00pm. 
Join us for the opening of this exciting exhibition featuring works across the full range of art media.
If the vibrant opening night is not for you, the exhibition will be open from Saturday 22 June to Wednesday 26 June, 10.00am to 4.00pm daily.

This huge student exhibition is only on show for a short period as the studios are in demand for the >>> winter workshops which commence from Monday 24 June.
